Nash was born into a very strict family. His parents had a harsh 'No interacting with any other creature other than other wolf hybrids' rule. If he disobeyed that rule, his father would beat him to the bone. He was told over and over again that no matter how hard he tried, he'd never become any greater than a pathetic feminine boy. That was true- but it's was never Nash's fault that he was born with a height defect that naturally makes him smaller than others. His rough introduction to society has left many scars, not just on his body, but on his mind also. It's left him being frightened by older and taller men unless he knows you properly. When he was 10, his sister, Cevi, was brought into their family. His parents were more softer on her but the same rules of the house still applied. And naturally, Cevi looked up to Nash, since he had been living under these rules for ten more years than her.

When he reached his teenage years, he became a little bit more confident with himself despite the amount of put-downs he got at school and at home about his height. He went against one of his parents' strict rules- which was not to have any changes to your natural appearance- and got shark bites on the right side of his lip. This caused a huge argument between him and his father, ending up with him getting beaten until he was unconscious in front of both of his sister and mother. He woke up the next morning in a bed that was not his own. He, and his sister, had been taken away from their parents by social services. He hasn't seen his sister since.

So now he lived in a children's home. He never really got on with any of the kids there but he dealt with it anyway. He enjoyed the subjects he took in the private classes that were provided for kids his age, the main subject being English literature, and being German, this helped him a lot with pronunciation and the way he structured his sentences. But his accent sometimes restricts pronunciation. When he reached 14, he left the Childrens home and wandered along through Eastadale Forest- eventually finding The Calvary who accepted him just fine. He became very close with the old Alpha, who encouraged him to get two tattoos on his arm. 'Born this Way' with a small peace sign above it, and 'Get up and try' on the other arm, written in smoothe italics. However, when that Alpha died, the rank was split between his three heirs. Nash, Cain and Austin.
